Default big bass

I caught a big smallmouth bass. I didn't have a weigh scale but it was
well in excess of 5 lbs and i think it is the biggest that I ever
caught.. It was so big that when it was hooked it didn't go airborne. I
used a plastic worm and it was hooked in the side of the mouth. It was
safely released. I caught two other bass in the 2 lb range in the same
evening. There was a real flury of activity.
I also had a couple of interesting wildlife sightings.

Default big bass

In a previous evening I caught another nice bass using classic rapala
minnow bait. I think the big bass that I mentioned previously would
have won a local sponsored contest. I didn't have the heart to keep it.
It was probably a 20 year old fish and had a very thoughtful manner in
which it fought. The whole experience was quite a highlight to my
holiday. More details to follow
