I long ago lost one of my favorite pics....typical Texas plains....lonely
old gas station out in the middle of nowhere with used parts and tires for
sale ......the sign out front read "Liquor, guns, ammo, beer"

What's the old joke? If you can get videos, beer, and bait in the same
store, you know you're in the South? Thow in some some cigars and
fireworks and it's one-stop shopping for the ATF.

I ran into that in the Galveston/Houston megaplopis, but this is the
first
time I saw wine in the mix.

The sad part is that people in some parts of the country see it as odd.

Damn, how could I forget to add videos to the list? (Though
fireworks are usually sold in a stand next to the beer/bait/guns store.)

Woo hoo!! I love how the wine is right next to the rifles. Drinking
and hunting, those are some good times. Just ask Tricky Dick.
