Hey all, My wife and I have decided that during the spring semester in
2007 I will be applying to San Diego State with plans to start in the
fall of 2007. I know there are a couple people here that frequent the
San Diego lakes.
I grew up there, but had limited access to a car at that time. I fished
Cholas, Otay, Mirimar, Jennings, Cuyamacha, and El Capitan. I was
wondering if someone could give me the low down on San Diego lake rules,
and how often you are able to fish these lakes. From what I remember
they were only open a couple days a week, and for a set amount of time.
Living here in Wisconsin I am not used to that. Also , I was
wondering what lakes are closest to San Diego State.

Any help you can give me would be great!

Chris, you are within 30 minutes of almost every lake in San Diego
county from S.D. State.

Do a search on (sdfish.com) a local discussion group, it has lake
reports, maps, the whole works.

My son is doing a seminar every month at Aim Marine...not far from
State. The schedule will be advertised on sdfish. If you get a chance
drop by one of them, and tell him I said to turn you on to some bass
fishing while you are there.

Have fun....it's a great school, and a great city, not to mention the
fishing!

John
