Default book report and movie reiew....

Syriana...(spelling?) with George Clooney. It's a tough to follow movie
because it is written in the popular genre of moving back and forth between
characters and events. I'd watch it.

It ties in nicely with the book, The Sorrows of Empire by Chalmers Johnson.
Mr.
Bowen was kind enough to loan me the book, cautioning me that it got a
little slow around the middle.

Prior to this book, the most influential book I had ever read was, A Peoples
History of The United States, or something like that by some guy with the
last name of Zinn.

By the middle of this book (sorrows of Empire), I would read maybe a page,
and have to stop. I found that I could not pick it up again for three or
four days, sometimes a week. Ladies, we are talking gut-wrenching
relevation....everything makes sense now. I know who "they" are.

Anyhow, I've got to give Mr. Bowen back his book, his Cherry Poppin Daddies
CD, and his chest strap for his waders....of course if he is not going to be
at the anti-clave, I won't be able to do that.

I'm bringing the camper, have room to spare.

Right now though, I'm headed to the upper Peninsula!
