I leave tomorrow morning dragging my Skeeter. Going to Springfield, MO
for a Professional Outdoor Media Assoc meeting Thurs - Sunday, then on to Des Moines to fish some with Fritz. Leave about a week from Friday to go to Rhinelander - have reservations starting on Sunday night, Sept 3. Planning on fishing along the way -anyone on that route wanna go? I am looking for a place north of Springfield - maybe Truman Lake - to fish a day or so -anyone know anything about it this time of year? How about between Des Moines and Rhinelander? If I can find a place to stay around the Mississippi river I might fish there a day or so - but it is Labor Day and not sure anything will be open. Could not get a room in Rhinelander till Sunday night. Steve was gracious enough to say I could stay there and I may have to take him up on it. See you in Rhinelander on BOOM!!! |
