Default Tough Day On Champlain

Saw they canceled the tournament day today because of high winds. Is
that the one Warren is fishing?

Yes, he was blanked on Wednesday and the top 20 from Day 1 will fish Friday.
So I guess that they canceled, not postponed, Day 2, and they go directly
from Day 1 to 3.

While the FLW press release glossed over the conditions on Wednesday,
they really should have called day 1 as well. As soon as I saw the # of
zeros on the board, I knew it was nasty. The only way that many people
zero on Champlain is by not being able to make it back to the weigh-in.
I've heard of some pretty bad boat damage on Wednesday.

Count me among the no-shows at the Day1 weigh-in you guys. I've got quite a
horrific tale to tell about my experience this week guys, and I promise to
post a detailed version of it as soon as my store stops rocking ;-)

Frankly, I'm just glad to be back here in PA sitting at work & typing to
you. At several points wednesday I didn't know if I was ever going to see
my family again.

Yes, it was that bad.

RichZ,

Joe Moldashel passed away on the 25th of September. If you hadn't
heard. The family had your book prominently displayed at the service.
Feel free to contact me. Slink has my address.

Really sad to hear about Joe. Old, old friend who I didn't get to see or
talk to very often any more. Thanks for letting me know.
