Interesting listen

Zach at the Itinerant Angler has a good podcast this week, an interview with
Steve Moore, the head of fish biology for Great Smoky Mountain National
Park. I've not finished listening, but the first half was very interesting.
And Mr. Moore seems to have channeled Wayne Knight- sounds JUST like him. I
had to tweak my decoder ring a little bit! :-)

Okay, I'm going to fess up my tech ignorance here and ask the question.
Podcasts are just longer .mp3 files right? I can download 'em to my
PDA, laptop or iPod (if I had one) & listen to 'em just like a music
file. That about it?

Yep, Joe, just a plain old mp3 file. They can be long, short or in between
(this one happens to be on the long side- about an hour worth of listening,
as I recall) and you can listen to them on whatever you own that'll play an
mp3 file.
