Part of the deal. I get a new one every year, just as soon as I sell the
"old" one. There's nothing that I don't like about the boat, it's been by
far the best boat I've ever been in, bar none. It's roomy, comfortable,
incredibly stable, has tons of room, is easy to clean up, inexpensive to run
and faster than most boats in it's class.

It's just that I am selling this one, because I want one of the new boats.
The new models are being built using a different process that reduces the
hull weight from 1,150 pounds to between 750 and 800 pounds, and is even
stronger than before! So that means I still have the strength and stability
of my current ride, but it will be even faster and more fuel efficient when
I keep my foot off the HotFoot. I've heard preliminary runs with a new
hull, with the same outboard that I'm running now have hit speeds in the
triple digit range when unloaded of fishing gear.

Plus, if I'm retiring from the FD, I'll have more time to devote to the tv
show, and I need a boat that is a little more video tape friendly color.
The white that I have now, while nice and cool in the summer has a tendency
to "blow out" on video tape. So, I'm going to talk to some video experts
and see what color will work better. And I cannot imagine a better boat for
videotaping on the water, it's an unbelieveable camera platform.

If I wasn't acting as a rep for FastCat, I'd be keeping this boat for a
long, LONG time!

C'mon Warren, open up your line of thought a little bit. The offshore
powerboat racers back in the 1970's used to think, "I want my raceboat to
look like a raceboat." LOL!!! They got their butts handed to them by the
guys driving catamaran hulls. In fact, the cat hulls are so efficient, that
they're now an entirely different class, mostly because vee hulls with the
same power can't run with them!

How many square feet of fishing space do you have in your boat, it's a 21
footer right? There's in excess of 95 square feet of fishing deck space in
my 20 foot Cat. You know how much storage you have in your boat? Ahhh,
there's probably twice that much space in my Cat. You know how long it
takes to make your boat nice, clean and shiney? I clean my boat inside and
out in under an hour. Let's not even get into high speed running or how it
performs when the weather gets snotty. Can you carry up to 24 rods (up to 9
feet long) where they're easily retrieved and stored separately? How about
carrying people? I can seat 4 in my boat and take the family for an outing,
then go run in the mid 80's on tourney day.....

There's so much more to a good bassboat than just looking like a ......
bassboat.

The only way I'll run a different hull will be for strictly business
reasons. If I was a privateer, looking to maximize my efficiency on the
water........
