I confess that thought crossed my mind a few days ago; but I deferred
mentioning it for a few reasons. 1. It's not really his style IMO, tho he
*is* that good; 2. I don't believe he has that big an axe to grind against
the otherwise framed suspect or ROFF for that matter; 3. If true, why spoil
it g; 4. It began long before April Fool's Day; and 5. The other
explanation is simpler. Ockam's razor & all that.

I'd bet that since there's nothing much to say to the anonymous one/s
other than, "Moron", he just decided to let them / him make their his
/ bed and lye in it. (Not a typo. Ever felt lye?)

Or maybe he's out fishing?

I was thinking that knows that he would be unable to get his claws out
of this moose, and had chosen not to glom onto it.

Personally, I think the whole thing sucks, and I wish those two would
go outside and play.

Nah, poor form, that. I have it on good authority that he's alive and well,
