In light of recent events, it is clear to me that my referring to you as
a "Nazi homo" is just plain insensitive. Therefore, I hereby pledge to
try to not refer to you in such fashion again. I can't promise I'll
never forgot and let it slip, but you have my word I'll try.

From here on out, I'll do my best to remember to refer to you as a
nappy-headed Nazi homo ho...

And yet, for some reason, I have a feeling even this won't help,
R

What in the *hell* was Imus thinking anyway ?

Did you see Gwen Ifill's Op-Ed in the Times today?

She must be blind-- calling Imus "middle aged"!

Actually, on Howard Stern these past few days, this has been bandied about
a lot. Every time a radio personality gets fired for what he says, Stern
is a big supporter. In this case, Stern is talking about Imus'
interactions with staff at NBC, and in that light, what Imus said last week
seems consistent.

I'll go you one better: should I ever have a radio show that MSNBC
broadcasts, you don't _EVER_ have to listen to it...and I hereby pledge
to never even attempt to force you to listen...

Heck, I just sorta figured that such was obvious, but hey, now you got
it in writing,
R
....of course, MSNBC is mostly responsibly, what with them just flat-out
lying to people by telling them Don Imus never said anything that might
enflame folks with no self-control...and if you'll tell me who not only
forced you to read my post, but forced you to reply, I'll send the
dastardly evil-doer a tersely-worded email full of all sorts of
suggestions...

The "cleaning lady" assigned to cover the White House, that
Gwen Ifill ? ;-)

I asked my wife this morning, "Who in the hell is Don Imus ?".
I've never heard his show and I'd never heard of him. Some
think this is all a publicity stunt on the eve of his wife's
book release. Stranger things have happened.

Splork Vang Mu !!

Now I have to wipe the Budweiser spew off the computer screen. ;-)

What the hell is everyone else thinking? What's next - folks shocked at
Howard Stern saying "tits?" It's the Don-****in-Imus Show, not "Five
Minutes of All Warm and Fuzzy" on "All Things Considered"...

If a person doesn't wanna hear Don Imus say "controversial" stuff, maybe
listening to Don Imus' show ain't the thing they ought to be doing...

And what the hell was he doing apologizing (to anyone besides the girls
themselves)? He shoulda told Al Sharpton something along the lines of
suggesting he put his de-nappied head back up his ass.

Apparently, their biggest lie is telling people that Imus still has an
audience.

I'll take your word for it. I occasionally catch bits of his show, but
I don't know what his numbers were or are.

I know him from my early years in Brooklyn. He's been on NY radio since
about 1968
