Default San Juan Information - December 6-9

I haven't heard from Willi, Snoop, or Charlie lately so I'm not sure what
their plans are. RW and Dan'l will be here though and I'm pretty sure Bryan
L will be there also. And Bob from El Paso will be along with his better
half. Warren was planning on it but I haven't heard from him lately either.
Looks like we'll have a small group. My friends Chuck and Arnie will be
there for a few days also.

If you're tying, make sure you've got larva in sizes 22 and 24, UFO/yong
specials in 20 and 22 (try a TMC 501 for these), the amazing chamois leech,
worms, eggs, midge emergers and pupa. If anyone needs flies please let me
know in advance and I'll get some ready for you.

my email is

We're staying at Rizuto's
http://www.rizutos.net

And of course I'm looking forward to it. I will get up there and see if I
can figure out the bugs soon.

Alas, I won't be able to make it this time. I had to take more vacation
time in July and August than I had accumulated and I'm still working my way
out of the hole. I'm sorry to miss out; the San Juan claves have always been
a blast.

I'll be there if I have to walk. Now that Charlie is out, I may have to
push Snoop to go! (Maybe Kevin will go along?)

Sorry to hear that but I'm glad you're feeling weel enough to be working
again.

Maybe we could get something together for early Spring. Will you be
"caught up" on your vacation by then?

OK Willi, we'll see you at Rizuto's. You'll like my new Chamois Leech. If
you get a chance try dyeing some chamois kind of a plum color.

We're all sorry you can't make it Charlie but glad you're feeling better.
And I'm pretty sure you've caught enough fish here anyway! Next year again
for sure.

I'm planning on being there for Saturday/Sunday. I'll have just gotten
back from 2 weeks in Costa Rica (yeah, not much sympathy from you guys,
I'm sure), so I'll have to go back to work Monday and Tuesday.

Looks like two guys from Los Alamos are probably coming with me.

I was at ths San Juan yesterday (Tuesday). Water is exceptionally low
and pretty cloudy, but the fish were cooperative. I'll unload my camera
and post a more proper report tonight.

Bryan,

A report would be nice. The ROFF guys are interested in how the river looks
and fishes at 250 cfs.

I'll be up there for four days starting Thursday the 20th and a report will
follow.
