Default Alloy reunites, goes on tour.

Much to the disappointment of both of their fans, with the
institutionalization of Skiv Baiters, the Sid Vicious of the squeezebox,
Alloy is now a twosome. But they still are one of rock-n-roll's best
live acts, right up there with "Jimmy Osmond sings ABBA" and "Journey
covers Foreigner." They showed they haven't lost the old magic at this
past Saturday's show in front of the entryway to the Fudgenpacken
Station near the Judy Garland Theater in downtown Berlin. Backed by
Dieter Schitzenupen on a stick, Mike Connor's Hendrixesque solos on a
Billy Bass were the stuff of legend. And when he fingers his trout,
girls swoon...well, not so much "swoon" as much as projectile vomit, but
the crowd of 3 seemed almost awakened by this latest "retro" act reunion
tour.
