![]() Over the summer, I, being an idiot, broke the tip of my TFO 8-wt while stringing it up in anticipation of the morning pike bite. Being a procrastinator, I figured I'd "get around to" sending it to Texas for repair. As I have a trip coming up, I sprang into action and sent the rod, along with the requisite 25 bucks off for repair. Being a cheap bastid, I sent it USPS, 9th class I think. Five days later, the rod arrives at my door ready to go. Considering the holidaze and general lunacy this time of the year, I'd say that's pretty darned good. -Dan (Anyone heard anything steelies on the PM? I've heard the water's down and so is the bite. ??) |
