Default Housatonic tonic?

Heading up to the Wooden Boat Show in Mystic next week, and wonder if there
is a stream or river not too crowded worth the drive? The Housatonic sounds
like a good possibility. Recommendations are greatly appreciated!

If ya want to drive 2 1/2 hours the Hussy is a good place to fish the
Farmngton is on your way to the Hussy I do believe another good
river......Or the Salmon river in Colchester Yantic river outside
Norwich the Shetucket down that way also send me your email and I
will send you the dep fishing report..........I don't think it's on
there site anymore but as a C.A.R.E instructor i get a
report...........
