Default TR of a different nature

Left for Knowles Corner Maine Sunday 8 am stopped at my favorite sub
shop Damons in Agusta picked up a couple Ham Itialian sandwiches or
subs grinders hogies depending on where you are from great
lunch........Stopped by at the cemertary paid my respects to
stepfather brother and sister step and brother past this year sister
about 20 years ago........Arrived in Knowles Corner met up with
brother and brother-in-law.......Decided we needed to do a scouting
run off we go into the Maine woods in search of the elusive Maine
Moose about a mile in we see our fist one by the time we left we had
seen 6 or 7 get back to the cabin nephew is there with his 7 year old
son both who are joining us eat lights out by 8 pm...... 4 am comes
early the season starts at 5:52 1/2 hour before daylight also 26
degreess........We are hunting of logging roads in areas that were cut
5-10 years ago and clearcut areas brush is about waist to chest
high.......As we wait outside the hunting area figuring we should be
at the tagging station by 6:15 time comes to go get our moose 10 of
seven we see our first bull (as we have a bull only permit) nephew
will get the shot moose is standing in the shadows so can't tell
gender I am looking through my binoculars brother and nephew looking
through scopes send nephew closer to have a better view moose turns
and it's a bull last years proberly small antlers brother tell nephew
up to you first shot goes under the moose second shot over first moose
jitters he is a good shot moose disapears into the woods no problem
still almost 5 days left to get one couple more hours we see a couple
more but they see us also we head back and eat lunch head back out at
3 pm saw a few more but to long of a kill shot.........Tuesday up at
4am 20 degrees breakfast of eggs sauages homefries toast time to head
out I am saying when the sun comes out so will the moose sure enough
about 8am we see the first of many moose a huge bull with his honey
brother and nephew load up as you cannot have a loaded gun in the
truck the moose start moving towards the woods they both shoot but to
far away just made them run a little faster for a big animal they are
pretty fast ride around some more see a cow in a switchback limping
brother says its a cow I am looking through binocs again saying theres
a bull with her he turns and give us a nice view of his ass we start
yelling he turns behind a tree so no shot.........head into town 15
mile from camp grab a burger home made french fries and gas up back to
camp get saws go get a load of wood and off to the hunt again brother -
in-law and I go up the first road broth and nephew go up second road
about an hour later we hear shots and over the walkie talkies we hear
bull down time to drag him out but we can't find them brother-in law
has his own way of finding things an hour later it seems I tell him go
back the same way we came take the next right go to the four corners
and take the right sure enough there they are we pull the moose out
have to go back and get the trailer to load moose.........His weight
was 562lbs small moose by comparison to the ones we got in the past
but should be nice eating.....Wendes morning we are up again at 4am
clean cabin head back to brothers house hang moose in trees butcher
come skin quarter and take to the cooler by Sunday or Monday should be
ready to go pick the meat up........All in all nice trip got to spend
some time with family get some food for the 2009 Tenth Annual Penns

Agreed about the "nice post" part, but there were periods all over the
place, just not in the right spots And a serious aversion for
commas to boot.G

Besides food for the Penns Clave, I'd imagine that crowd wouldn't be
adverse to some of the moose hair for tying purposes.
