Okay, will be in California in late April. My bud has a boat and
we'll be hitting the kelp beds. He's a bait dunker. Any ideas on flies for me? Will be swinging an 8wt, hoping for yellow tail. last time I did this, I didn't tie. Frank Reid |

Frank Reid Orange seems to be a trigger color. I've also read that olive is very good in the kelp beds. Make sure to have some flies in chartreuse. Small #1 - #2 Clousers, or Sea Habits(tied with any of the mentioned colors over white)should do the trick. brians |
