Of course there is no looting or rioting or raping happening in Fargo.
Most of the people there have never even seen a black person except
for on TV, and the state is run by Republicans. That's why you see

How can any liberal idiot criticize Bush for a slow response when Obama
is drowning Fargo? The government could easily save Fargo when they
were powerless against a hurricane.

But do you think the press will show the whole picture or do you think
they will defend Obama's lack of action?

Well, let's see: Federal troops and the National Guard are already in
Fargo, helping to sandbag the levees. The mayor reports that Obama
called him and asked if there was anything else he needed. So far there
hasn't been any really significant flooding, and lacking a disaster,
disaster relief is kinda hypothetical.

Sounds like you right wingers are HOPING Fargo would drown. They still
have power in much of Fargo, and I'm guessing that quite a few residents
are watching you hoping for disaster so it will make Obama look bad, and
rethinking your notion of what "conservative" is. I suspect you know it
too, which is why you are so courageously posting under a new account.

Sorry for breaking roff protocol, but I've been out of the country for
a bit, mineisntyours. Tell me what's happening in Fargo, and how Obama
has dropped the ball? Has the river flooded town while FEMA watched
from the sidelines? Are people stranded on their rooftops? Are there
thousands stuck in some sports stadium without supplies, etc? Did
Obama failed to take any precautionary measures until after this
disaster struck, and then stayed away for several days afterwards?
When did the flood wipe out Fargo?

Thanks in advance...

What a ****ing imbecile you are. You must be on a different planet.
Why don't you go ****ing look it up on any news service web site or are
you just another illiterate getting on a newsgroup from the local public
library.

Get a clue and catch up with history. The screw-up in the White House
is ignoring the flood, his czaress of Homeland Security is sleeping on
the job. Bush went in after Katrina and pulled out 30,000 within hours
after the hurricane passed. Obama is letting the town wash away.

OK how about this quoted from
Associated Press ... published 60 minutes ago as I type this

"The White House said it was monitoring flooding in North Dakota and
Minnesota, and President Barack Obama has dispatched the acting head of the
Federal Emergency Management Agency to the region. White House spokesman
Robert Gibbs said Obama has personally spoken with the governors of both
states and with Fargo's mayor.
The president called North Dakota Sen. Kent Conrad on his cell phone during
a news conference in Bismarck on flooding problems there and in Fargo. "If
there's anything more that we can do, we will do it," Obama said after
Conrad held the phone up to a microphone. "

then let's add this

"It's to the point now where I think we've done everything we can," said
resident Dave Davis, whose neighborhood was filled with backhoes and
tractors building an earthen levee. "The only thing now is divine
intervention."

Even after the floodwaters crest, the water may not begin receding before
Wednesday, creating a lingering risk of a catastrophic failure in levees put
together mostly by volunteers.

National Guard troops fanned out in the bitter cold to inspect floodwalls
for leaks and weak spots, and residents piled sandbags on top of 12 miles of
snow-covered dikes. The freezing weather froze the bags solid, turning them
into what townspeople hoped would be a watertight barrier.

Hundreds more Guard troops poured in from around the state and neighboring
South Dakota, along with scores of American Red Cross workers from as far
away as Modesto, Calif."

It DOES seem there are a couple new " ****ing imbecile" types here tonight
.... but, believe me Riverman is NOT one of them

That's the White House talking. And its bull****. They could build
much better flood control and save the city.

And you obviously support that fool in the White House. Probably were
even fooled enough to believe his lies, probably voted for him.

Why aren't the levees being shored up NOW instead of waiting for them to
fail?

Hundreds? Where possibly thousands are needed? What a pathetic

Yeah, it's so easy to start a big construction project in the dead of a
North Dakota winter. I'm surprised Obama didn't think of trying it.

We have been. There's been some flooding, and about 1,500 people have
evacuated to local high schools and the like where they are safe and warm.

The Feds took five days to show up in NOLA after Katrina. FEMA and the
National Guard and even the Army are already there, ready to lend any
assistance needed. Worst case scenario is that it will be about one
tenth what Katrina was.

You really are desperate, aren't you? So how many of your countrymen are
you hoping to have die so that Obama might suffer political embarrassment?

Save the bandwidth, Larry. A quick googlesearch on our friend, Jim
