I thought about changing things up and going to northern
Wisconsin to fish for fall steelhead, but I'm a creature
of habit. The heavy rains last weekend washed the salmon
carcasses and their eggs out into Lake Michigan and that
means the fall steelhead season is about to be in full
swing at the usual places.

I've been looking forward to this all year.

The dog and I will be in residence in Cabin 4 at the
Pere Marquette Lodge in Baldwin, Michigan starting Tuesday.

The fishing isn't easy, but if you're willing to cover a
lot of water and work at it you can catch ten pounds of
****ed off chrome on the fly which will take you into your
backing and put a grin on your chin.

If you're in the area, give me a holler.

Enjoy yourself. I, unfortunately, am not of the IT consultant quality
level so I have to continually work for a living. Someday, someday...
