Hello.
I am looking for a new rod for more heavy flyfishing. Looking for something to cast flies for barracuda and pike. I have several TFO rods (Pro, TiCrx), and I find them great for the money. Also they are very robust, wich goes well along my way of managing my fishing gear. I think I need a 9' #9. Will be fishing from ground, float tube and small boat. I already have a TicrX 9' #6. This is a good rod, but when fishing with a floating I need to uprate my line to #6 to have decent short range shooting. Looking at their site they have the clouser serie that seems to suit my need. Anyone had a chance to try a #9? I have found some reviews on the net, but they tends to looks advertising. If someone has any idea as an equivalent rod for the same money? Thanks. |
