Life's cool little moments

I was sitting at my picnic table this morning when two guys came
through my campsite to get to the lake, carrying small kickboats.

I thought I recognized one of them and asked. Yep, it was Denny
Rickards ( western lake fly fishing guru with a few books and videos
out ). I ended up with a nice chat, some interesting information and
some free flies !! Very nice guy.


Oh, fished opener and yesterday on the Firehole in snow and wind
( lots yesterday ). Caught a sinful number of small little Firehole
fish opener, a handful yesterday ( wind never quit for even a
second .. high wind, too )

Taking today off, ( unless I try the lake at 'home' )
