not much happened in nc as hurricanes go...simply an offshore blow that
had winds that caused some relatively minor, and typical, flooding and
power outages on the northern outer banks and in some parts of adjoining
counties with pamlico/albemarle sound frontage.

btw, take comfort. wayno suffers daily...he lives subject to the
authority and jurisdiction of the united states court of appeals for the
fourth circuit. coastal nc hurricanes are simply a news item for
greensboro residents.
