Okay, need a reel with a serious, sealed drag for my 10 wt. A kind
friend sent me a reel, but the drag broke in seconds. I've been looking at the Lamson Guru reel. Conical, sealed drag the same as their high priced reel. Will be able to get it for 25 to 35% off on Veterans Day at Cabelas. This should bring the cost down to about $185. I've never owned a Lamson and never needed a sealed reel. Any comments from those in fish the salt? Need a decent reel but really don't want to drop $300+ on something I might use 5 days in every two years. Frank Reid |
