That's SWMBO on the web page of the Rockford Register Star

http://www.rrstar.com/

and the story that goes with it

http://www.rrstar.com/localnews/your...29-19236.shtml

They had a nice little ceremony at the college and it was quite
pleasant to get together with friends and family at a gathering
that wasn't a funeral. We've been to WAY too many funerals lately.

The other inductee was an outspoken Vietnam Vet against the War in
the early 70's and his was something of a controversial induction,
Kristine's was far less so but their acceptance speeches could have
been written by the same speech writer. Same themes of rights and
responsibilites and social consciousness and activism.

Needless to say, I'm very. very proud of her.

I'll bet she's not very proud of you after proof-reading *that* sentence(?).

TL,

That's okay. Sometimes I'm very, too.

Congrats,
Plus was glad to see she was NOT one of the 456 Rockford Schood District
employees laid off next year.

Best wishes.

I suspect it's not just my messages, although some would consider
that a worthwhile feature ;-), but all the messages from my lame
ISP SBC/Ameritech. Their NNTP servers don't propagate reliably
either upstream or downstream. I sometimes have to go to Google
to follow the gist of a Usenet conversation so many messages get
dropped.

Usenet is not a high priority for most ISPs and SBC/Ameritech, or
whoever the hell owns them this week, is no exception to the rule.

Hmmm, I don't think I ever mentioned it here but I do find librarians
sexy - not too sure that's what you meant.

I met about a hundred of them a few weeks ago.......not a sexy one in
the bunch.

Wolfgang

Gee, that's a shame, Wolfgang. I'm fortunate to know a librarian who
is the most beautiful woman I've ever met.
