I've tried a bunch of different things, some ate the line (silicone-based sprays), others helped it float, but had to be reapplied (gink-type floatants) often during the day. None worked well. Due to this, the extra spray from the water coming out of the leader spooking fish, how quickly they freeze solid in cold temps (i.e. frozen nylon spears hitting the water) and the virtual impossibility of getting wind knots out of the buggers (I've read about this problem, 'cause I never get wind knots), I gave up on them. -- Frank Reid Reverse Email to reply |
