Hi group,
Anyone have any experience using chickpees as bait? If positive, How do you prepare them, what is the best method of using them and what species are they best for. Tenchman |

I was told that carp like them so I've tried them a few times without success....you can get them in tins, simply drain off the sal****er, rinse and use - or if you prefer to do them yourself, get the dried ones, steep them for at least 24 hours and use. You can put them on a hair rig...as I said, I've never had a bite on them but those who use them regularly say that they do work....you may find that waters' where the carp are hammered will take unusual baits and avoid pellets, corn, boilies meat etc. |
