Default TR kinda: My bluegill pond is heating up

Tied to get TimJ to go but he was plastered, and little Jim was a no show.
I fished for two hours and caught dozens (at least 3) of bluegills, some of
which are putting on some serious weight this summer. A puny bass and two
9" black crappies (on top, on tiny gurglers) rounded out the night. Thanks
Big D - I used two of your flies tonight. A little yellow spider that was
completely chewed up, and a psychedelic spider. I tried to decorate the
trees and docks, but was able to retrieve them. I had pruny hands after an
hour from releasing all those fish.

I fished my little KPOS 3 wt. that I just got a new tip for. Man, that's a
sweet rod for bluegills.

Not too shabby for native brookies, either.G

It is good to hear that the flies worked for you. I feel it is pretty hard to
beat the combination of a 3 weight rod and bluegill.
