have a swell time... and, uh, ask if anyone has heard of a pilot/fly
fisherman from greenville, nc...he's been gone so long, i've forgotten
his name (oldtimers' disease)...used to be a carpenter here. one day,
he just sold everything, loaded up his truck, and he and his dog "lit
out" for alaska. he used to share a drink or two at our local watering
hole...haven't heard from him since, but heard rumors he's piloting
cargo and fisherman flights in alaska, living with a native...
