coarse fishing in scotland

I've recently relocated to Edinburgh and would be grateful if someone can
tell me a little about the coarse fishing scene in scotland, more
specifically edinburgh....all I hear about up here is fly fishing and
haven't see any shops at all selling coarse tackle and bait...cheers

There is very little as I found out recently.

Some of the larger rivers are famed, but as usual, I think your best bet is
to talk to local tackle shops.
