I recall somebody complaining about a Mitchel 300 spinning reel that twisted
line worse than normal. I think they asked if anybody else had a problem with it. I new I had a small Mitchel reel I use for light line applications, but I could not rmember what model. Anyway. I have a 308. It is a pretty high quality reel, and while not expensive its not cheap. I use it for sub 1/4 oz baits on a light soft spinning rod. It performs better than my Pflueger spinning reels (I have atleast a dozen of them) and it is one of the smootherst operating spinning reels I have. It does not seem to twist line any more than any other spinning reel, and the line I currently have on it has not noticable twist problem. This is a ten bearing reel. I do not know if that is comparable to the 300 somebody was askign about, but i have no problems with my 308. -- ** FREE Fishing Lures ** Weekly drawing ** Public Fishing and Boating Forums ** www.YumaBassMan.com |
