Rods banned on airplanes in EU?
Just got a news item that fishing rods are gonna be banned on airplanes in the
EU starting Feb. 1. Humm - ever hear of anyone taking their rod on the plane rather than checking it? Where would you put it? Maybe a break down rod, but this sounds strange. Maybe I am missing something? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/3404363.stm Ronnie http://fishing.about.com

Personally, I always carry mine on. But then again, I only fly on very long
