Got a giggle out of that, especially as I've sometimes considered
firing off an email suggesting that the Sun editorial staff should
move south since they obviously are so unhappy here.

One other piece of Canadian news to warm the hearts of all Bush fans
-- our Liberal government is in a minority position in parliament and
a combined vote of the opposition could bring them down. The vote of
every MP is critical. Well, the Liberals had one MP by the name of
Parrish who was always saying extremely rude things about Americans,
rude enough that they were repeated in the U.S., media.

Well yesterday, the Liberal leader and Prime Minster Martin fired her
ass. Even the socialist NDP, who are not exactly enamoured with the
current U.S regime, don't want anything to do with her.

The guy admires our foreign policy because it ****es off
the French ? Yeah, there's a deep thinker there, boy let
me tell ya.

The guy's from Calgary, Alberta. That's not the "refreshing
other side" of Canada, that's the wild west underside of
Canada, or maybe the backside, I'm not completely up to
speed on Canadian geography. ;-)

Anyway, Alberta is to Canada as Montana is to the US, just
another red state full of rednecks.

I agree with you about the column. The guy is clueless, and his
arguments are idiotic. Disagree with you about Alberta, though. Its a
great place to live.

You'll have to excuse me if I'm not feeling charitable towards
the farmers and ranchers and loggers and miners of the west
right now. There's precious little difference between the US
variety and the Canadian and most of 'em are shortsighted rapists
feeding at the government tit while at the same time demanding
that government get off the backs of "rugged individualists".

Have you ever been to Alberta? How do you know there is little
difference between the US and Canadians?

I know that because their anti-government, extraction friendly,
resource raping, anti-environmental screeds read like they've
all been written by the same speechwriter. Maple leaf or stars
& stripes, western interests are pretty much the same on both
sides of the border and in both cases the bad guys are winning.
