Also, check with the guys over at www.nitroowners.com, they have alot of
people there that fish this lake regularly, and I think are getting ready to
host a tournement there. Also it's another good source for Dale Hollow Info.

Are you planning a trip there? I'd feel that I'd have to come up and visit
ya... Just don't overlook Lake Barkley while you're there.

This is a "big" lake, and since it's connected to Lake Barkley, that
makes two big lakes! Knowing where you intend to fish is important in
what you need to know about them. One thing for sure..if you plan on
touring the whole lake, get a Kentucky and a Tennessee license...hard to
tell exactly where your at if you don't know the area! October isn't a
bad time on either lake, but bass fishing can be tough that time of year
with the water level dropping, and weather changes. Smallies are still
plentiful though, and I like Barkley best for them. I live a few miles
from both lakes, so when you get ready to come down, or up, what ever
the case , let me know, and I'll share some info with ya!

I'll be fishing a tournament on Kentucky Lake on April 22-23 of this
year. We are launching out of Moors Resort. I have fished both Ky lake
and Barkley during October, never in the spring. Any ideas? Also, I'd be
looking for a cheap hotel near the Moors, do you know of any?
thanks,
Jack
