What is it about Lund that they figure they can charge such high prices? At
the Sacramento sports show on Friday and there is a 19' lund with a 225
Vornado Merc ($16,900) and a kicker (maybe $2500) and the package price is
$52,000 + tax and license. $52k for a 19'? At the same show is a Boulton
20', with a Honda 4 stroke of large size and it is only $34k. The Bolton is
a much better built boat, all welded, 0.190 thick bottom, a lot thicker than
the Lund and the finish is better. He makes top of the line northwest river
jet boats also.
