Default Battery warmed socks

For a friend of a friend...
This is a little weird.
Does any one know where battery warmed socks can be purchased?
Note: He wants the batteries to be located above his waist line for easy
access while in his waders.
I told my friend to tell his friend to solder a couple of leads onto the
battery terminals and run them up his waders for easy access. He said he
already told him that, but he would rather the batteries were already remote
from the socks.
Any help will be sent along.
Guy

I have tried two pairs of battery socks and they worked once, each...worked
great the first time and then that was it. Maybe it was just my luck, I
dunno

Pretty similar to my experience with the pair I received as a gift -
more trouble than they are worth, but as always, YMMV.

agreed, here. the only value might be while sitting motionless for
hours in a duck blind. otherwise, they are just an impediment.

I'd think a skiing supply shop. You could not possibly get the batteries to
fit inside the ski boots, so the battery packs must be remote.

I think Cabelas sells a pair, made just for waders.
