Default Iced a LM, but not w/ red....

Hit the ice yesterday afternoon. Tryed a small gravel pit lk w/i the
city of Rochester.

Fished 13' of water off a point. Dropped a Marmooska (ice jig) down
w/ a small white plastic strip (about 1- 1.25" long and looks like a
tiny fluke) wacky rigged.

Saw a blip come up off the bottom, and merge w/ my jigs blip on the
sonar. No tap, so I raised the jig a bit and felt weight. Set the hook
and brought it up. Sadly - it was a dink - maybe 8".

Had one other hit, but that was all on that hole. Moved to a new hole,
watched a fish on the sonar while I had my hands occupied lighting
my heater. Was gone by the time I got my line in the water.

No other activity.

Jim

Hey Doc ! I might be heading down to Pompano Bch. sometime around the end of
Feb. If so, maybe I can squeeze in the Bimini top for the boat rehab.

Sounds great! Will you have time to wet a line? I think you have my home number. Bill P

Hey Doc

Long time....

Sadly, a Florida bass break isn't in the works this spring. Now if a
class or someother type of work-related technical confrence just
happens to be offered in Fl, I'll let you know.
