I find a Zebco Procast with 20 lb. test line (I like Fireline) is great
for pitching. I have problems with casting lures (essentially backlash & inaccuracy) & the Spincast reel is more accurate & more trouble free if you change the line at least yearly (to avoid line twist) I know that it's diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, but this works well for me.
