Sheeesh...sounds like you only have access to ALL of the sal****er species
that I like to catch. Also try posting on http://outdoorsbest.zeroforum.com/zeromain?id=1 After you catch a redfish, or a snook, or a tarpon...you may well be very happy you are on the sal****er side of the canal dam. You can catch all three of those species on all of the same lures, worms, jigs, etc. that you might use in various freshwater locations. The next evening that you get a chance, try a top-water from the dock. Work it with a "walk the dog" slowly. I hope you get a pleasant surprise. Be sure to rinse everything off well. Brackish means some sal****er, and it'll eat most bass tackle up pretty quickly. p.s. I have a bass pond in my back yard. I drive 70 miles to the nearest sal****er bay every single chance I get.
