Default OT Unbelievable

I'd given up. Stalked out of the living room cursing under
my breath and went upstairs to sulk in my study. But I had
to watch, morbid curiosity if nothing else.

And then ...

A whole string of miraculous, improbable, impossible "and thens."

That was arguably the best college basketball game ever played
and without a doubt the gutsiest comeback ever by an Illini team.

An instant classic, I'm still shocked and awed.

You misspelled "biggest fold down the stretch" in an NCAA tournament
game.

HTH.

I wonder if you'd feel the same way if the Fighting Urbani had lost.
:-) (And I have no doubt they would have lost if they hadn't been
playing "at home".)

Chuck Vance (who has no horse in this race, but thinks the
Michigan State/Kentucky game was more of a "classic")

Yeah, yeah. Your east coast bias is showing.

All season long we heard the "experts" rail on about the
supposed superiority of the ACC and the Big East and we
listened to them denigrate the Big 10. So much for all
that nonsense. Illinois played Wisconsin three times this
year and didn't have anywhere near as much trouble with
them, even on their home court, as North Carolina did.
And you saw what Michigan State did to that other over-
hyped denizen of tobacco road, Dook. HAH !!

So, is it safe to assume that your dog hasn't won any prestigious awards
that you couldn't possibly care less about recently?
