Hey all, I went out on Winnebago this morning, (didn't get out till 9am,
because I bartended till about 2:30am) with a good friend, and my team tournament partner Josh Rasor. We decided to see how the smallie fishing was and just throttled them. We had 26, with 9 legals, and our largest 6 weighing about 17.5 lbs, I was thinking we were just about pushing a 3lb average. We found that the Sheepshead (freshwater drum) were all over teh crayfish, and both of us switched to crayfish patterns (me a small Deep Tiny N), and Josh throwing a tube & Bitsy Bug jig. Josh got the 2 largest as you can see in the pictures in ABPF, but I took the numbers title, and did manage to catch 5 of the 9 keepers :-). Chris |
