Default First Trout on own tied fly...!

Caught my first trout this evening. On one of the first flies I tied as well
(the ez nymph to be exact). Nothing to brag about size wise (just a wee
fish) but it was indeed a rainbow...

Mr. Jeremy Fisher would've been proud!

Was on the c & r stretch of the Patuxent river just south of Woodbine. Don't
know what that little pull-off lot is called or anything but, i'm mighty
proud that my efforts were rewarded tonight. Gonna hit it again tomorrow and
see what my wanderings get me into. Supposed to get down to freezing
tonight...but nice come Sunday again...

Woo hoo!

Anthony

Way to go! I live in Woodbine, and know first hand that that stream can
be tricky! I built a 7' 4wt specifically to deal with that stretch of
water.

Damn mid-Atlantic contingent is gonna get bigger (but hopefully not as
mouthy) as the North Cakalaky crew.

Is there an algorithm that relates to ones abilities with the English
language vis-a-vis the number of beers he's had?

Absolutely......but no one ever remembers it come morning.

Wolfgang
who actually DID record some of those conversations that we all said we
should have recorded back about 20 or 30 years ago.

Yep - but it's an intricate function which at first rises ever so
slightly then with additional input turns rapidly downward. Rather like
the semantic value of a press conference which exhibits a similar
degenerative sinusoidal curve with the variants being expressed as
inverse exponents of the speaker's presumed status. C.f.: Hari Seldon.

expanding concrete cancer we know as the Greater Washington Area (burbs).
