Okuma Stratus ST-30??

Folks,

I just bought one of these reels at Dick's Sporting Goods. I was
originally looking for an AV-30, but they were out. The guy asked if
I'd be interested in the Stratus ST-30 because it was half off.
Retail 69.99, sold it to me for around 34.99 (I had to get a new reel
that day).

So I bring it home and decide to do a little research on it. I find
NOTHING on this reel using google. I go to Okuma's website. Again,
nothing. Needless to say, I am confused. The only place I find it
mentioned is on ebay:

Was this thing a recall or something? Anybody got any info on these
things?

Does your reel look like the ST30 on that site?
I have a call into a Okuma Rep to see if they even ever manufactured it.
I noticed that the ebay listing you furnished mentions it is new for
2004? Yet I see no mention of this model on the Okuma site?
I'll let you know what I find out,if you haven't got an answer before I
speak to the Rep.
