Default Happy early Birthday Lefty

From today Baltimore Sun

Left-handed compliment

Finally, a tip of the fishing cap to Bernard V. Kreh, who came into the
world on Feb. 26, 1925, taught the Germans a thing or two at the Battle
of the Bulge and then schooled thousands of anglers as The Sun's
outdoors writer and as an instructor at outdoors shows around the
country.

Eighty years old and still going strong. Tight lines, Lefty.

Lefty blows.

Lefty Kreh is an elitist piece of **** who claims that
what America needs to do to save our trout streams from
depredation is make them private water for the rich.

Hi Ken baby,

If Lefty blows, then you suck.............

For about every one thousand admirers Lefty has, you must have zero?

I think that many real ignorant people cut on people they never met because
they are really ignorant.

If you went to most any sport show and said something negative about Lefty,
I am sure someone would volunteer to take you out side for a quick lesson.

PS: I guess this is why I don't come here anymore. Because these other
gutless suckers let you blow off here.

Who needs this kind of BS.

Yes, and screw you too Wolfgang.

Ah, good old Three Dollar Bill weighs in on roff again.
You don't come around here anymore because you've been
exposed as a shameless SPAMmer who's as phony as ...
wait for it ... a three dollar bill.

We don't need your kind of BS, "Bill".

One could say the same for Benito Mussolini.

I think that many real ignorant people cut on people they never met

Well, with any luck at all you've just taught them something. Taking bets?

If you went to most any sport show and said something negative about

Heroic. Just the sort of people we as fly fishers want representing us to
the general public.

PS: I guess this is why I don't come here anymore.

Hm.......doppelganger?

Because these other gutless suckers let you blow off here.

Not me.

Who needs this kind of BS.

Interesting question. We should explore that some time.

Yes, and screw you too Wolfgang.

Charmed, I'm sure.

A post from Ken Fortenberry on April 26, 2003:

"Since when has elitism become a pejorative ? Why does it seem that
slapping the elitist label on someone is enough to push their
arguments beyond the pale of polite discussion ?

"You have to blind in one eye and unable to see out of the other
not to realize that some people and some things ARE better than
others. Some people are smarter and more honest than others and
some ideas are better than others. Egalitarianism is seductive,
but it seems perverse to deny common sense.

"It is a better thing we do to fish with dry flies rather than
corn kernels, and if that makes me an elitist, I am proud to be
an elitist."

A nicely written defense of elitism, if I do say so myself.

Now, go back and find where I ever said we need to protect
our fisheries by making them private and charging rich folks
out the wazoo to fish them.

Lefty blows, and if you show up at any Girl Scout meeting in
the US and claim different the little gals will haul Three
Dollar Bill Kiene out into the parking lot, beat the old fool
senseless and shove cookies up his silly arse.
