Ok, does anybody have the skinny on what the Lamiglass power rating means?
I have a couple Lamiglass 3 power rods. They are fast tips, and pretty heavy power Seems like medium atleast. I use them for flipping weightless plastics or light weights. Very light weight fast action. Great rod. I was fishing with a friend on Saturday in a tournament and he was playing with a 5 power Lamiglass rod in the same line. The tip seemed to be downright mushy by comparison and bend further back into the rod too. The rod base is thicker though. I don't understand their power rating at all. His seemed like it would make a good spinner bait rod. Does anybody have a clue how to judge what a Lamiglass action should be based on what it say on the rod? -- Bob la Londe www.YumaBassMan.com |
