Going down for a week from the 24th-2nd. Got a few recommendations from Tim
for charters out of Oregon Inlet for the Gulf but if anyone else has any recommendations, the more the merrier. Don't want to make reservations and get stuck with a charter with bad weather, so waiting til the last minute and need to have a list of possibles, hoping that one of them is not booked. Also, as per Jeff, I hear the red drum fishing is very good in the area, any recommendations for a guide in the area, or....if I may as bold to beg...if you happen to be well verse and w/boat, I could supply gas, food, beer, and/or whatever other bribe/s necessary. Doesn't even necessarily need to be on a boat, I hear there are access points around where you can fish on foot too. Any updates on the fishing conditions in the area would be awesome too. If the Red fishing is in full swing I may not pay the big bucks to go out in the Gulf when I can have fun in the Sound or along the shore. Any and all help would be awesome, Thank You! |

I love the cheese curd. It is the perfect snack on the boat.
