I dunno whats up with these guys - here in the UK carp are GREAT fun
especially off the surface!

Friends of mine use bread flake around the hook, but I use small 1cm sq
dog mixer biscuits. I use them attached to the size 6 or 8 hook via a
small, clear elastic band. The hook is presented on about 2 / 3 ft of
line, via a controller float. Any float that can be cast well is good.

I catapult a small handfull into the lake every few minutes to get 'em
start feeding off the top, then put my float into the middle of them
and watch for the take . . . .

I have had fish up to 30 pounds with this method - and all get put back
safely too!

Kevin
