Does anyone have a source for Hard Mason monofil? If not, what's your
favorite bass bug weed guard?

Hey Scott,

Try Bass Pro Shop:

http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catal...d+mono&x=0&y=0

I normally use stiff mono from the bend of the hook, up to the eye. I've
also found these to work very well:

http://www.gurglersonline.com/weedguard.html

There are made from very stiff material, and work well with the Gurglers
i've tied. Heavy weeds, and topwater stripers make for a fun evening. :-)
