I read a post on here last week about chumming for catfish with cheap cans
of dogfood. Another option that was suggested was a one gallon milk jug filled with dry dog food and aearating holes at the top. To the person who posted that (since i cannot seem to find it) or to anyone who has experience with this method, Is it best to do this in a lake-type of water rather than a river? If in a river, is it better to do so in the channel or out of it? I attempted this over the weekend and had no luck...any insight would be thankful. |

This technique requires still water, and the container needs to be placed in the water a few days in advance -- Rodney Long, Inventor of the Long Shot "WIGGLE" rig, SpecTastic Thread Boomerang Fishing Pro. ,Stand Out Hooks ,Stand Out Lures, Mojo's Rock Hopper & Rig Saver weights, Decoy Activator and the EZKnot http://www.ezknot.com |

Silverwood is the lake I like to fish most of the time. I’ll go to my spot
which can only be reached by boat and feed them a few pounds of dog food on a regular basis. Then I’ll use the can dog food for bait just take a few fish. The rest I catch and release. Richard G. |
