Default Going Away

Taking the family away next week for some R&R, which includes docking my
boat lakeside for some serious week long fishing. A bunch of new stuff I'll
be trying, include red cajun line, some new custom made long shank wide gap
hooks, The Ozmo's Rich Z was so nice enough to get to me on time and a
couple hand painted spinnerbaits and buzzbaits, rounding it out with some
blk/blue recoil worms Hope everyone has a safe week and gets some fish, I
know I will!!!!! Behave while I'm gone

Think I'll get some R&R if I take my family away for a week?
Think I'll start to miss them after awhile?
Naa... we have pizza delivery and a dishwasher, I'll be ok. Plus, it's
PRE-SEASON!

Wasn't Football invented for people who have nothing better to do with their
time and money. LOL. Imagine....a sport with 60 minutes of "running" time.
Each play is 5-10 seconds with 30 seconds of replays in between. Probably
only 10 to 15 minutes of actual "playing time" per game, and million dollar
salaries to boot. Give me Hockey with 60 REAL minutes or Baseball with 27
outs and I'd get my moneys worth.. Come to think of it , with Okeechobee,
Toho, Istokpoga, and freshwater canals at my dock, is there really any sport
besides Bass Fishin'?

Muskie fishing, crappie fishing, walleye fishing, hunting with a bow,
hunting with a rifle, hunting with a shotgun, there's definitely more to do
than bass fishing. And to me, they're all preferrable to watching a bunch
of overpaid whiners get millions for playing in 16 games a year!

Couldn't agree more. I suppose I could find other things to do down here.
Was never into hunting, though. Last summer I spent a lot of time doing the
Hurricane Shutter Shuffle. Does that count ? Wish Moe was still down
here(where is he now?) I think he left because he owed me a half day from 4
years ago, before I moved down here. Sure would like to pick him up to spend
some time in the Champion 202 I bought. As for football, as long as people
keep shelling out hard earned money to see 15 minutes of playing time those
crybabies are set and aren't about to change.

You forgot trout fishing. ;-)

I like college football, perhaps because I can walk to Memorial
Stadium, have a beer and a brat at the tailgate party, and then
yell myself hoarse with 70,000 of my closest friends. Never much
cared for the pro game.

This is true, but I don't do much trout fishing any more. I used to, about
15 years ago, but then again, I lived on a trout stream and would come home
from work in the morning (I worked the night shift), put on hip boots, catch
a couple 9 - 10 inch brook trout and have them for breakfast before going to
bed. :-)

The bigger ones I'd release.
