Default Florida crappy fishing

i've been doin alot of crappy fishing in north central florida, gainesville, and about 2 months ago when it was warmer i was doin alot better then i'm doin now when its colder. shouldn't this be the opposite? i'm fishing in the middle of the lakes with minnows. does anyone have any advice about how i can start catching more crappy

Try fishing around the edges of the lakes. As the water gets colder,
many fish go to shallower water, which is warmer. Try the northern
sides of the lakes, where the sun has more time to warm the water from
a good angle.
