Default OT..to operate or not to operate

....the last visit to my sawbones was a revelation to say the least. The MRI
showed no problems with the rotator cuff (which is where he had been
injecting me with cortisone for these many months)
Turns out the problem is with my collar bone where it connects to the arm
bone, which in turn connects to the wrist bone, which...sorry, couldn't
help myself. Anyway, he plans to grind off(!) some of my collar bone to end
the conflict with the arm. In the meantime he gave me another injection
right where the two join, having to guide the needle down in there amidst
bone, muscle and tendon and God knows what else. (a long-assed needle I
might add, I should never had looked at it!) It seemed to take forever
while I frantically searched for a bullet to bite on. The date is not set
as yet for the slicing and dicing, but sometime soon I hope and get this
aggravation over with. Just looking for a little pity here. ;-)

....but to ease the pain, I have booked a three day float on the John Day
river in Oregon this June. Ore. F&G claim 4,000 bass per mile on this
river, I don't believe that but it sure sounds good.
